Camden City Transitional Academy

Camden City Transitional Academy  is a remedial discipline program that provides a secure learning environment tailored to each student.  Students are referred by Camden City Public Schools.

Camden City Transitional Academy’s goals are:

• To increase student academic achievement
• To raise student attendance
• To create and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
• To prepare students to meet state and District graduation requirements
• To provide students with the necessary skills to enroll in a post secondary institution, certification program, or trade school and/or obtain gainful, self-sufficient employment
• To prepare students for successful re-entry and assimilation into a District regular education program, where appropriate
