Camden City Accelerated Academy

Camden’s George Washington Elementary School is now home to Camden City Accelerated Academy, operated by Camelot for the City of Camden School District.

Once enrolled, students receive an individualized and accelerated curriculum designed to keep students engaged in school and providing them with a curriculum framework allowing them to graduate in 2.5 years or less.

The  Program Goals are:

1. To increase student academic achievement
2. To raise student attendance
3. To create and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
4. To prepare students to meet state and District graduation requirements
5. To provide students with the necessary skills and support to enroll in a post secondary institution, certification program, or trade school and obtain gainful, self-sufficient employment

An integral part of our accelerated program is assisting high school students nearing graduation with information and opportunities for continued success after graduation. Our vision for each student that graduates is that they become functional, self-sufficient contributors to society. We support our students by increasing their vision of what they should and can become.
