Camelot at Wynnefield

Camelot at Wynnefield is a therapeutic day school located in Wynnefield, PA, serving adolescents ages 14-21. All teachers are certified special educators and our principal is a certified administrator and a certified special educator.

Our program goals are:

* to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for the treatment of children and adolescents suffering from psychiatric, alcohol/drug related problems, conduct disorders, autism spectrum and other developmental disorders. To provide a strong academic program based on each student’s individual needs.
* to educate and support our student’s families and to facilitate their participation in treatment and discharge planning
* to assure that the transition from the TDS shall be accomplished with optimal consideration of the student’s needs
* to provide education and resources that will facilitate a healthier style of coping

The Therapeutic Milieu includes art therapy, pet therapy, picture communication systems (PECS), speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration, play therapy, and yoga.
